Congratulations, everyone, we are 100% funded as of last night and the Goddesses of Autumn pins are now a sure thing that will be happening! Thanks so much to everyone who has backed this project and spread the word. It makes me beam with pride to know the fans are out there making artists' dreams come true!
But we still have 10 days left to go and several Stretch Goals to reach, so don't stop the music yet! Keep on sharing and spreading the word with the added confidence that anyone who pitches in will be able to get a pin at the end of the project. I'm really hoping we can at least meet that first Stretch Goal so I can add the pearlescent shimmer enamel to the final pin designs!
In other news, the Lady of September original art bundle has been CLAIMED! That leaves Lady of October currently up for grabs. Don't miss out on snagging this one before the price goes up after the campaign!
I'll have the next and final original art bundle for Lady of November available next Thursday, 10/17.

New Tier Added! Lady of OCTOBER Original Art Bundle

Good news, my lovely Backers! I'm excited to share the addition of the 2nd original today, as well as the news that we're 91% funded! We're only a few hundred dollars off from the goal with plenty of days to make that, and reach some of the Stretch Goals as well. Thanks so much for all of you who have supported and shared this project!
The original bundle I'm adding to the Rewards today features the Lady of October, my Lady of Lost Souls. This ink drawing inspired by her pin's design was created with archival inks and accented with genuine 23 karat gold leaf. She will be matted in white with a black core and will come ready to pop into a frame for display.
NOTE! After some thought, I've dropped the price down to $130 on the original art bundles! This is a bit more consistent for the rest of the tiers and hopefully will help these drawings find a home AND also fund this project at the same time.

New Tier Added! Lady of SEPTEMBER Original Art Bundle

Happy Thursday, everyone! We're creeping to that 'fully funded' goal and today I wanted to share 1 of 3 new original art tiers I'll be adding as the campaign progresses!
The first original ink drawing bundle to be added features the Lady of September, my Lady of the Equinox. The original ink drawing was inked by hand with archival ink and mechanical pins, then accented with 23k gold. It will be matted in a black core mat and ready to frame!

Buying the items in this bundle also offers you a little bit of savings, rather than buying each one individually. RE: The Kickstarter Boycott

News has broken recently of a situation regarding Kickstarter and employee unionization efforts. Many popular creators and passionate individuals have called for a boycott of Kickstarter. I wanted to reach out to my Backers and help them understand what's going on, what they can do, and how this affects my plans for future Kickstarters meant to support my Birthstone Goddesses projects.
What's Going On?
Employees of Kickstarter are attempting to unionize. Kickstarter is opposed to this effort, stating that the us vs them attitude of a union will not be conducive to the collaborative environment of their 160 person staff. Unfortunately, two employees that were involved with unionization efforts have been terminated, one of which has claimed unfair termination, though Kickstarter has denied this occurred because of their union involvement.
Kickstarter has stated that if a union is voted on by their employees in a manor that complies with labor laws, they will officially recognize this effort and begin negotiations. See Kickstarter's FAQ on the matter for more detailed information on this situation. Negotiations have been ongoing since March of this year.
Kickstarter United, the group organizing the unionization effort, has stated they will not boycott Kickstarter creators with current or planned projects, as it will harm small creators and the unionization effort more than it will hurt it. Read their statement here.
How Does this Affect You and Me?
As a small creator, I understand and empathize with the need for employees to argue for fair treatment. I wish to follow the attitude of the union leaders in this regard, meaning I will continue to run my currently planned projects and support creators here. However, once the pin series is complete, I will be re-evaluating my options of where I will be hosting my crowdfunding projects and am researching a move to IndieGoGo. My final decision will depend on the state of negotiations at the time of this series' completion.
For now, the Birthstone Goddesses enamel pin series will continue to be hosted here on Kickstarter until the entire set is complete! The schedule for their releases is as follows:
The Goddesses of Winter Pins - Launching 1st Day of Winter - December 21st, 2019
The Goddesses of Spring Pins - Launching 1st Day of Spring - March 19th, 2020
If after this point in time I decode to relocate my crowdfunding efforts for my future endeavors (ie. the Birthstone Goddesses calendar, art book, etc.) I will be sure to let everyone here know via my projects' Updates!

I hope that in the time that my enamel series has run its course that there will be a fair and amicable solution reached for all involved. Until then, I understand if I do lose Backers taking a stricter stand on this topic because you can and should do what you believe in.

Kickstarter has been an invaluable tool to my growth as an artist-ran business this year and it has meant so much to my husband and myself. I wanted to chime in and let everyone know we've had an amazing start to this campaign! We're already almost 50% there within the first few days, which is fantastic! You're all wonderful and I can't express my gratitude that chances are very high this set in the collection I'm trying to build will become a reality. It becomes easier to take these kinds of leaps into the unknown in the future knowing that this crazy idea I had can really happen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
